However, the surface has deteriorated over time. Poor drainage has worsened the situation. During peak hours, traffic often crawls. Even light rainfall causes waterlogging, which slows movement and frustrates commuters.

As complaints continued to rise, residents and RWAs consistently demanded a permanent solution. MCG has now responded with a comprehensive redevelopment plan instead of short-term repairs.

What the Model Road Will Deliver
